چکیده

Inverter-based Operational Transconductance Amplifiers (OTAs) are versatile and friendly scalable analog circuit blocks. Especially for the new CMOS technological nodes, several recent applications have been extensively using them, ranging from Analog Front End (AFE) to analog-to-digital converters (ADC). This work tracks down current advances in inverter-based OTAs design, comparing their basic fully differential structures, such as Nauta (N), Barthelemy (B), Vieru (V) Mafredini (M) ones, and, addition, mixing them up propose single-ended two-stage hybrid versions. The herein-proposed composition of Barthelemy/Nauta (B/N), Barthelemy/Manfredini (B/M), Nauta/Vieru (N/V), Manfredini/Vieru (M/V) OTAs. All were designed same Global Foundries 180 nm open-source PDK performances compared post-layout simulations.

Applications of the CA3080 High-Performance Operational Transconductance Amplifiers

The CA3080 and CA3080A are similar in generic form to conventional operational amplifiers, but differ sufficiently to justify an explanation of their unique characteristics. This new class of operational amplifier not only includes the usual differential input terminals, but also contains an additional control terminal which enhances the device's flexibility for use in a broad spectrum of appli...

A Low-Power Fully-Differential CMOS Operational Transconductance Amplifier for A/D Converters

The design of a fully differential CMOS transconductance amplifier is presented in this paper. This amplifier is to be used in the first stage of a 13-bit pipelined A/D converter, and was designed to meet the necessary specifications at a minimum level of power consumption. The amplifier presented below was based on a two-stage design of a telescopic cascode input stage followed by a common-sou...

CMOS Inverter-Based Transresistance Amplifiers

In this paper, CMOS inverter-based wideband transresistance R, amplifiers are proposed and analyzed. Using the R, amplifiers, tunable VHFKJHF R,-C bandpass biquadratic filters can be designed. In these filters, the center frequency f , can be post-tuned by adjusting the control voltages of the R, amplifiers. The pseudodifferential configuration uses the extra inversely connected and self-shorte...

Inverter Based Gain-Boosting Fully Differential CMOS Amplifier

Abstract—This work presents a fully differential CMOS amplifier consisting of two self-biased gain boosted inverter stages, that provides an alternative to the power hungry operational amplifier. The selfbiasing avoids the use of external biasing circuitry, thus reduces the die area, design efforts, and power consumption. In the present work, regulated cascode technique has been employed for ga...

A CMOS Inverter-Based Self-biased Fully Differential Amplifier

A CMOS self-biased fully differential amplifier is presented. Due to the self-biasing structure of the amplifier and its associated negative feedback, the amplifier is compensated to achieve low sensitivity to process, supply voltage and temperature (PVT) variations. The output common-mode voltage of the amplifier is adjusted through the same biasing voltages provided by the common-mode feedbac...
